Anton

Anton hanging out in my bedroom window, which he now loves to go in and out of...lucky for him he usually shows up at it before I go to sleep because they're SOL and stuck outside for the night once I'm snoozin'.

I am amazed at your photos. The colors are great. You frame the scene well. You're always in focus. You capture the moment so perfectly.

Did you take a class on photography? Is it your camera? Is it New Zealand's itself? How do you do it?

Is this a John I know?

No, I've never taken a photography course, but I've always wanted to. A good camera does most of the work for you...I have a nice one, but I'd like a better one - that will have to wait until after the PhD. It's a digital Kodak with a 10x optical zoom...which is needed for taking pics of wildlife, especially birds. As for always being in focus...the camera automatically tells you if something isn't in focus and with digital, I can delete all the bad ones! Whether it's NZ, I don't think so...I've taken some beautiful pics in places in Minnesota that are just as beautiful as here in my opinion...but here the beautiful places are everywhere you turn.
